GeoTerraImage specializes in the digital analysis of satellite and airborne imagery, which is used in combination with a variety of complimentary data sources to provide a fully integrated spatial solution to decision makers. GTI utilises a range of international accredited, industry standard image processing and GIS software, which provide a comprehensive range of geo-spatial mapping, modelling and classification capabilities. GTI currently has access to the following software:
- ERDAS Imagine (Professional, Autosync, Objective, LPS Photogrammetry)
- ESRI ArcGIS (ArcView, Spatial Analyst, Stereo Analyst)
- Definiens eCognition

- MapInfo
Image interpretation experience gained in a wide variety of national, regional and international projects to both national and international clients has provided the GTI team with a unique skills profile, that is both unequalled in Sub-Sahara Africa, and on par with the best in Europe and America. This is complimented by the fact that all qualified remote sensing and GIS specialists within GTI have background qualifications in areas such as earth science, landscape ecology, agriculture, terrain analysis and urban and rural planning and computing. This core technical group is supported by a team of external freelancers, consultants and strategic business partners which allows GTI to quickly respond to expanded capacity requirements. |
